Learn to love is 100% pure honest feelings. It’s all about chaotic teenager years,
impossible quest for self-love, and the obsession for this hate that sometimes lives inside
our body.
Learn to love is a pop album, just hiding under this hip-hop folk shell.
The album features production by amazing beatmakers such as Degiheugi, Funken Zoen,
and lyrical performance by Astronautalis, Nolto, Nomad, who are still, 10 years after the
album first got released, some of Andrre’s favorite artists.
Dora Dorovitch decided to offer this album a second life, because it aged well, and
because it looks like there could be some more collaboration between Andrre and the label
in the future...
Louis-Charles Marsolais, aka ANDRRE, is born in Quebec, Canada.
He makes emotional music for people to feel, and has worked with people from all around
the world, that shared this true passion for beautiful and honest sounds.
He became a father of two somewhere between then and now, stopped doing music to
work on these specific new creations. He has waited for them to be old enough to eat
alone, then bought a house in a small village and build a studio within 23 steps of this
house.
He is now back with a lot of love, anxiety hope and dreams to share.
partager.

For the ten years of the label we restarted our action with the compilation "connect the machine to the map" dedicated to Alt hip hop music....more

You know that one dope concept song on an album full of gangster rap from the 1990s? This is like a whole album made out those kinds of tracks. Boom bap hiphop without misogyny and glorification of violence. Art rap with neither pretentiously over-produced ambient inspired beats nor shitty sounding cassette demo beats. Just raw, nice sounding music. There is also a heavy jazzy feel over the album making me think of Pete Rock, Sound Providers and Five Deez. All in all just what the doctor ordered Joel Siméus
