At the end of their 2018 tour, Mind The Beatz decided to record their first album. This was recorded in emergency, from November 2018 to April 2019, between diapers, bottles and short nights. Indeed, zoën and fysh respectively become dad for the second time, it was built in the middle of a limited schedule, with itchy eyes and full of dark circles.

Thus, several coffee makers later, the group gave birth to NIGHTS CUTS, an 11-track album with nocturnal and cinematic aromas. Oscillating between soundtrack samples and old school breakbeats, through trip hop songs with palpable tension, NIGHTS CUTS is an ideal record for escaping, feeling, breathing and traveling (but surely at night).

En Septembre 2017, afin de promouvoir la sortie d’un EP instrumental, ZOËN propose à son ami FYSH de l’accompagner sur scène. Suite à ce premier concert prometteur, les deux amis meurent d’envie d’aller plus loin, c’est ainsi que MIND THE BEATZ voit le jour en janvier 2018. Le groupe compose alors de nouveaux morceaux et sort quatre mois plus tard, un premier EP en guise de carte de visite tout en multipliant les scènes.

2 ans et 30 concerts plus tard, MIND THE BEATZ annonce la sortie de son premier album « NIGHTS CUTS » sur le label Dora Dorovitch. Prévu pour début 2020, l'album est composé et réalisé dans l’urgence, entre couches, biberons et courtes nuits. En effet, ZOËN et FYSH deviennent respectivement papa pour la deuxième fois. Dense et cinématographique, l’album oscille entre samples de B.O. et breakbeats poussiéreux, en passant par des morceaux clairement trip hop.

MTB revient sur scène en 2020 pour défendre son premier album avec un tout nouveau set. Le sampleur et les platines seront toujours présents mais quelques synthétiseurs seront également de la partie pour quelques surprises. MTB propose désormais un live plus électronique qui s’insérera volontiers dans toute les soirées où le public voudra danser.
